Easternwell brings families together at Christmas
Easternwell invited the families of the rig crew working over Christmas to visit the rig and camp for lunch on Christmas Day.
The families visited rig crew working on Easternwell’s Rig 101, providing drilling services in Queensland’s CSG fields for Origin, upstream operator of Australia Pacific LNG.
Easternwell General Manager Kyle Koziol said this is the first time families have visited rig crew while on hitch in the field.
“With the support of Origin, we brought families together on Christmas Day to spend time together on this special day.”
“It was a great way to show our crews we care and to ensure they enjoy Christmas Day while they continue to provide essential services for our clients every day of the year.”
The rig crew on Rig 101 were grateful for the opportunity to show their families where they work when they are away from home.
Easternwell Rig Manager Shane Murray said: “Thanks to Easternwell and Origin we were able to spend time with our families, open presents with our children, have lunch and show them around the rig on Christmas morning. It was pretty special.”
