Broadspectrum appoints new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Broadspectrum’s Board of Directors has appointed Nick Miller as the Company's new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 2018.

Broadspectrum Chairman, Paul McClintock said: “Nick Miller’s appointment follows an international search for a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer to drive Broadspectrum as a leading services provider across Australia and New Zealand.”

“Nick most recently served as Managing Director for Fulton Hugan from 2010 to 2017, a large construction and services company of similar size and complexity to Broadspectrum operating across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. His expertise also includes serving on the Boards of several private, public and not-for-profit organisations.”

“Nick will work closely with outgoing Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Fidel López, to assure a smooth transition.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Fidel for his leadership and successful integration with the Ferrovial Services group. The Board expresses its gratitude to Fidel for playing a critical role in the transformation of Broadspectrum, which includes strengthening the company’s financial position, and reinforcing company culture and employee engagement to leverage the growth opportunities in what is an economically buoyant local market. This includes recent contract wins and extensions with the Department of Defence, Shell-QGC, Transpower, and the Victorian Government.”

Following his handover, Fidel López will be returning to a senior leadership role in the Ferrovial group.
