Amey Broadspectrum recruiting for Western Roads Upgrade

The Amey Broadspectrum joint venture is expanding its team to work on the $1.8 billion Western Roads Upgrade project.

The project is Victoria’s largest single investment in arterial roads to date and includes eight high-priority road upgrades, road widenings, intersection upgrades, almost 30 kilometres of duplicated road, and more than 260 kilometres of road rehabilitation and maintenance for 20 years across Melbourne’s west.

Amey Broadspectrum is part of the Netflow Western Roads Upgrade consortium – also comprising Cintra and Plenary as project sponsor, and WBHO Infrastructure as design and construction lead – contracted by the Victorian Government to design, build, finance and maintain the project.

As rehabilitation and maintenance lead, Amey Broadspectrum will design, construct, rehabilitate and maintain the road network, including more than 100 critical structures.

We have a number of exciting job opportunities in areas including design, construction, rehabilitation, asset management and maintenance. The long-term contract creates job stability and the opportunity to be part of this industry-first infrastructure delivery model.

Our unique approach to doing business means we have opportunities for people with diverse skill sets, from those with extensive design or construct experience to people exploring a career change but with experience in planning, logistics and lean production.

We value diversity and the unique skills people bring from different industries and backgrounds. It’s an exciting time for the roads industry and we look forward to supporting local people in the western suburbs with their career aspirations. These opportunities are great for anyone who is up for a challenge and furthermore allows the individual to remain connected and contribute to their local community.
