Transfield Services' latest step in infrastructure development

Transfield Services Limited today announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Arrow Energy to progress a feasibility study for the development of a power station located at Moranbah in Central Queensland. If the feasibility study proves successful, Transfield Services will develop, own, operate and maintain the gas fired power station, which is expected to have a capacity of up to 100 MW. Fuelled primarily by coal mine methane gas, this project will lead to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.   Continue reading →

Transfield Services delivers $55.6 million profit after tax and announces $270 million capital raising.

Transfield Services Limited today announced profit after tax of $55.6 million for the year ended 30 June 2006. This represents a 35.7 per cent increase on the prior comparable period to 30 June 2005. This result was achieved on revenue of $1,924.1 million, which represents an increase of 27.6 per cent on the prior comparable period.
