Paul was appointed as Chairman on 20 September 2016.

Paul has a distinguished track record in both the public and private sectors. His previous roles have included Chairman of the Thales Group, Myer Holdings Limited, Medibank Private, the COAG Reform Council, Symbion Health, Affinity Health, Ashton Mining, Plutonic Resources, Intoll Management Limited and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research.

From 2000 to 2003 he served as the Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Cabinet Policy Unit, reporting directly to then Prime Minister, John Howard OM, AC.

Tom Quinn

Tom was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 1 December 2018.

He joined the company in 2016 as Chief Executive, Resources.

Prior to joining Broadspectrum, Tom was Group Vice President of Jacob’s North American Upstream and Midstream business in Canada, managing 7,000 employees. He has more than 30 years of experience working in Australia, the Asia Pacific, and North and South America, including as Managing Director, Aker Solutions in Australia, and Director of Operations, Fluor Corporation.

Tom’s depth of experience globally includes working in engineering, construction and maintenance enterprises across the manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, food, and chemical industries.

His expertise includes leading enterprises underpinned by sustainable and strategic decision-making, acute tactical planning and implementation, while influencing brand marketing and building strong customer relationships.

Dean was appointed a Director on 28 October 2013. Prior to the acquisition of the company by Ferrovial, Dean was Chair of the Health, Safety, Environment and Community Committee and a member of the Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee.

Dean had a successful 27 year executive career as a contractor in the property, engineering, construction and services industries, including five years as Chief Executive of major construction group Baulderstone Hornibrook.

Following his executive career, Dean has served on a number of boards from a range of sectors including Railcorp in NSW, IT services company ICS Global Limited, mining company Zinifex Limited, power generation corporation Eraring Energy and Spotless Group Limited.

Fidel was appointed a Director of Broadspectrum on 13 May 2016.

Since 2007, Fidel has held various leadership positions in the Ferrovial Group globally. These positions include Corporate Development Director at Ferrovial Services, Managing Director and Commercial Director at Heathrow, Portfolio Management Director at Ferrovial’s Airports Division, and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Broadspectrum. In 2018, Fidel was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial Services.

Prior to joining Ferrovial, Fidel was Corporate Development and Regulatory Director, and Head of International Regulatory for energy and gas multinational, Enel.

Fernando was appointed a Director of Broadspectrum on 7 June 2017 and is currently Chief Financial Officer of Ferrovial Services. In 1992, Fernando joined the Ferrovial Group as its Chief Financial Officer for the Group Development Division in Ferrovial. In 1999, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Ferrovial Services. Before joining Ferrovial, he worked at Banco Santander in different sectors including construction, real estate development, utilities, and distribution of consumer goods.
